Brandon Renner’s practice focuses on issues associated with natural resource development, specifically as it relates to the acquisition and divestiture of mineral interests and operations. He is routinely involved in the issuance of title opinions for major coal producers and oil and gas operators, while working closely with industry landmen assisting in leasing and curative-related matters. Mr. Renner is active in the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) having previously served as a member of the Board of Directors and as a Committee Chairman. He is also a VA- accredited attorney who assists veterans with disability claims.
Before joining Basin Law Group, Mr. Renner was Counsel with Jackson Kelley PLLC. He earned his undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University in 2000, cum laude, and then his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois, in 2003. Mr. Renner is a veteran of the United States Navy (1993 – 1997) having served on board the USS Kinkaid (DD 965) and USS Nimitz (CVN 68).
